Early Response Teams (ERTs) fill a specific need in the early days following a disaster.  They are not the first response emergency workers, nor are they recovery, rebuilding, and/or repairing.  ERTs help clean out flooded homes, remove debris, place tarps on homes and help prevent further damage, while providing a caring, Christian presence.

Ann Huffman, Conference Disaster Coordinator, will facilitate an ERT Training here at First Church-RM on Saturday, April 22, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Room 43.  Lunch will be provided.
