Did you know that the Heritage District has a Creation Care Team too? If you are interested in Creation Care, please join us by connecting with our chairperson, Jacob Dye (jdye@nccumc.org).
Currently there are 5 pastors on the team (Jared Hanson, Keith Sexton, Tracy Sexton, Avery Lail) and we’d like to have more people join us, especially laity. We hope you’ve noticed the Creation Care articles included in previous editions of this newsletter. If you have ideas for stories of creation care happening in the Heritage District, please let us know. One project we are working on is a moving supply inventory so that itinerant pastors can share items needed during pastoral changes.
In September, the Conference team is sponsoring a free event each week.
