In this season when our church leaders are carrying especially heavy burdens, the team at Life Around the Table remains dedicated to creating space for clergy and ministry professionals to find renewal and rejuvenation of body, mind, and soul through our Sabbath Life ministry.
Sabbath Life is an invitation to clergy and ministry professionals to practice the rhythms of Sabbath, stepping away from our daily lives to delight in God, creation, and each other. Each Sabbath Life cohort will engage eight clergy and ministry professionals in monthly, full-day (9am-4pm), Sabbath retreats on a local farm from February through November. Work in the garden, worship, a delicious farm-to-table lunch, shared silence, and reflection time provide a rhythm for the day. Each participant will also receive a box of farm fresh seasonal produce each month from a local farm along with recipes to use at home.
