There are just a few spots left for folks to be a part of this exciting project.
The deadline to register is July 19th.
Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,
All God’s Children Enfield campus (AGC) has been appointed to serve in one of the poorest towns in North Carolina. Because of the high rate of poverty, homes are in dire need of repair.
AGC has partnered with CROSS Coalition (Christians Reaching Out to Sacred Service) to rehabilitate homes in Enfield. The mission is to transform lives through preserving, creating and sustaining affordable homeownership for low-income families. Together, AGC and CROSS will host and house work teams to serve the Enfield area.
The Enfield Service Project (ESP) is an opportunity where you can help us in this mission. We are mobilizing a team of students from ages 12 to 18, from Monday, July 31 through Friday, August 4 to do minor repair of homes (roof repair, plumbing, stair repair, porch repair, small remodeling projects and yard work). Children ages 12 and 13 will need to be accompanied by a parent.
A typical day at ESP consists of:
- 7:30 am Breakfast
- 8:00 am Devotion
- 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Worksite
- 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm Showers
- 6:00 pm Dinner
- 7:00 pm Worship & Speaker
The cost of the program is $50 and covers housing at the Franklinton Center at Bricks www.franklinton.uccpages.org, food and materials for the work projects. I have attached four d important documents; a combined application for the youth and leader, parental consent form, a mission participant registration/information form, and a Packing (what to bring) list. *Note – This is a CROSS packing list. The only change is that you have beds. It is a dorm facility. Also, bring closed toed shoes for the worksite. Please bring hard copies of the parental consent form and mission participant registration/information form with you. Check in will be on Sunday, July 30th, at 6pm. A mandatory orientation will begin immediately after check-in. (form links below.)
The deadline to reserve a spot is July 19th. Please make sure that we have the number of youth from your church that will participate. You can let me know by e-mail or phone. firstname.lastname@example.org and (252) 287 0140.
Please consider sending your youth for this exciting and life-changing experience as we change lives in Enfield one house at a time.
